Tuesday November 20th

Aunt Pollie and Aunt Harriet came to spend a few days at Bushey. They are staying at Tilly’s as Mother is away. I went and had tea there today.

Wednesday November 21st

Tilly took Auntie’s up to Lil’s to tea and then she went to Harwoods Road and fetched Mother to have a cup of tea with them.

Thursday November 22nd

Today Tilly brought Aunts up to Flo’s to tea. Lily came with them. Tilly went home to get Rob’s tea and then they both came up and had a bit of supper. Charlie had news today that his sister Kate’s husband was dead. He has been out of his mind for months.

Friday November 23rd

Aunt Pollie and Harriet went back to London today. I took some work home with me and Flo helped to do it.

Saturday November 24th

Nice and bright most of the day. I came home by the 1-9 from Chalk Farm. After dinner I brought Elsie and Nellie to Bushey, we came to fetch the little black kitten from Mary. We stayed there had a cup of tea and then Mary walked home with us as far as Gladstone Road. Afterwards I went up and bought a new pair of shoes.
