I’m fairly certain that the man in the photo standing behind the piano next to the man beside the wall mirror is my grandfather, Robert Hills, who moved from Newcastle on Tyne in the early 1960s, joined the Clitheroe Club and eventually married Edith Cole, who was the warden and lived in the house in Clitheroe Gardens opposite the club.  My mother, Rhoda Fawkes, used to play the piano for some of the club functions and helped out regularly at the jumble sales.
