Introducing this website

This website is a history of the Oxhey area. The site launched in 2010 to celebrate life in the Oxhey area.

Please add new memories and photos about the area – as it is today and as it was in the past.  If the photographs and information on the site bring back any memories about Oxhey and the surrounding area, please add your thoughts or stories and photographs you may have.

Volunteer

Our Oxhey has been set up with the help of a group of volunteers who are now website editors. If you would like to be an Our Oxhey editor, it’s fun and you can learn new skills and help to record the history and memories of your community.  New editors are always welcome. Ask for more information at Oxhey Library or contact Hertfordshire Archives.

This website is created by a group of volunteers. We’re always interested in new recruits, so if you’re interested please hals.enquiries@hertfordshire.go.uk.
