  • Thanks, Susan Waller (nee Davidson) for your positive feedback on my memoir. I have just finished reading David Reidy’s marvellous book, Poor But Proud, and I now realise from his detailed lists of streets and occupants, that a couple of my memories of the locations of the Woodhall Lane residents don’t quite match up. I should have bought his book earlier!

  • A very enjoyable read. So many memories revived of living in Woodhall Lane the neighbours and of Mrs McNamee at Oxhey Wood School. We must have been in the same class at that time.
Thank you a real blast from the past.
