Watford Heath

 The article on Watford Heath was originally printed in The Watford Observer on the 2nd Jan 1897 and reprinted for the Oxhey Village Environmental Group history pages in 2007. It describes the Heath and its residents in some detail including a vivid account of the exploits of an elderly man called Mr Wilkie who served in the Grenadier Guards and fought in the Crimea.
