  • This once beautiful building, enjoyed by many residents including their children, has become an eyesore and almost looks derelict due to the fact that it has remained closed for several months. Whoever owns this public house, needs to restore this back to a functioning family public house which in turn will benefit not only the community but also the economy.

  • This public house is currently under threat and the community needs support in opposing this private development. Currently the developers have boarded up the car-park and stopped locals using the cut through. Taking this valuable social area away from the community at a time when they have already lost so much space through the current development is cruel and should be reconsidered with the community as promised in the proposal to develop. • The Pavillion became the ” Brookdene Arms” for a while before reverting to “The Pavilion”. It is still listed in a Pub Guide on the Internet as the ” Brookdene Arms”.

  • I remember. This was the ‘Brookdene’ Pub in the summer of 1970, I remember the people outside the back gate having their tea. The ‘Funday’ with the South Oxhey Choir. I walked round the ‘Golf Course’ in 2010 and raised £400 for ‘Parkinson Society’.
