Loved this pub from the early 1970’s, I believe it was Pearl Carr who owned it with her husband and 2 children lesley and Peta. Would love to hear from the two girls
I’d have been 11-12YO, this being circa 1971-3, the pub ran an off-sales counter facing Lower Paddock Rd. We’d pour out of Boys’ Brigade [held in the Church Hall at the foot of Villiers Rd] and on summer eves, squabble to buy orangeade at the counter.
