Oxhey Place Doctors & Clinic

1950 - 1956

By Tony Hudson

Memories of my mum taking myself aged 4 and my brother aged 15 months from my home in Ashburnham Drive down to Oxhey Place to see the doctor and also to the clinic to pick up tins of infant powder milk and codliver oil.  This was very difficult due to most paths and roads up the Ashburnham end were still hardcore and ashes and difficult to push the pram over.
